US Jobs Report Falls Short of Projections

The latest US jobs report revealed a decline of 23,000 jobs in July, exceeding expectations. This follows a revised downward estimate of 20,000 jobs in June. Manufacturing jobs, however, showed a stronger-than-expected growth. Average hourly earnings and the labor force participation rate also saw slight adjustments.
