Content sourcing and attribution

Daily Read Bytes aggregates publicly available news feeds and public videos, and publishes short, independently written digests. We do not reproduce full articles, and we do not reproduce video transcripts or captions. Each story displays the name of its original publisher or channel and links directly to the original article or video. Trademarks and publisher names belong to their respective owners; their use here is solely to identify and credit the source.

Images and video

Story images are displayed by reference from the publisher's servers or from metadata the publisher exposes for sharing (such as Open Graph tags). Video stories embed the video through YouTube's own player, and video previews are shown directly from YouTube's servers with a play indicator. We do not rehost publisher images, videos, or thumbnails.

Editorial articles

Long-form editorial articles ("Long Bytes") are original works written by named contributors and reflect the views of their authors. They are published under the arrangement described on ourWrite for Us page.

Takedown requests

If you are a publisher, channel owner, or rights holder and would prefer that your content not appear on the Service, or believe any content infringes your rights, contact us with the story URL (or your feed URL or channel to opt an entire publication out) and the basis of the request. We commit to removing the story, or excluding your feed or channel from future ingestion, within 48 hours of a valid request.

Accuracy

News digests are generated automatically and reviewed for structure, not fact-checked editorially. The linked original article or video is always the authoritative version.
